Minnesota state Sen. John Hoffman, who was shot nine times by a gunman posing as a police officer who authorities say went on to kill another lawmaker, is out of the hospital and is now recovering in a transitional care unit,

Minnesota state Sen. John Hoffman, who was shot alongside his wife in a politically motivated shooting last month, was released from the hospital Monday. Hoffman moved out of a hospital intensive care unit and into a rehabilitation facility.
