Saja Boys and HUNTR/X, fictional groups from the animated film “KPop Demon Hunters,” were brought to life by animators and filmmakers with help from a slew of people within the K-pop world. Now, they’ve become global superstars.

In KPop Demon Hunters, Lee voices Gwi-Ma, the formidable demon king. Speaking with Dispatch (via AllKpop ), the actor revealed a surprising side to the villain, saying, "Gwi-Ma is set up as a terrifying, charismatic king of darkness, but there's a clumsy, almost endearing aspect to him. I really liked that part."

The success of this animated film has jumped from the screens to the music charts, in a new global phenomenon from South Korea. Netflix has already announced that it will submit the main song of this fictional group for the Oscars.
