A small earthquake rattled the New York metropolitan area Saturday night.

An earthquake in Hasbrouck Heights, Bergen County, shook parts of New Jersey and New York on Saturday night.

The quake's epicenter was in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. No injuries or structural damage was reported shortly afterward, said Jonathan Tytell, a geophysicist at the USGS.

A small earthquake rocked parts of New Jersey on Tuesday — the second to be felt in the region in just a matter of days.

The large earthquake off of Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula triggered a tsunami warning for part of the Aleutians, and an advisory for other parts of the state.
