It’s a woman’s world at the box office as “Avengers” star Scarlett Johansson has become the top-grossing star according to total global ticket sales. The list, recently released by The Numbers, is not surprisingly packed with actors who are best known for playing superheroes and other varieties of world saviors.

Scarlett Johansson set a new record this weekend, becoming Hollywood’s highest-grossing lead actor (before inflation adjustment) at the global box office. And she’s in some pretty familiar company.

Scarlett Johansson is now the highest-grossing actor of all time, beating out two former Marvel co-stars after the success of 'Jurassic Park Rebirth' over the weekend.
