EBC是埃及中央银行、财政部及多家本地银行共同成立的埃及本地转接支付网络，覆盖超2万台ATM和超30万台POS终端。前期，银联通过与EBC合作，开通埃及境内ATM终端受理银联卡。根据合作备忘录，双方将进一步推动埃及商户广泛受理银联卡，优化包括中国游客在内的国际人士在埃及支付体验。
