国际原子能机构近期主办了首个帮助亚太地区各国制定战略筹资文件的讲习班，以扩大对核医学和放射治疗这些应对日益沉重癌症负担的关键服务的利用。 该讲习班于2025年5月12日至16日在维也纳原子能机构总部举行，汇集了来自柬埔寨、黎巴嫩、蒙古和尼泊尔的多学科团队。参加者包括各国卫生部、财政部、癌症研究所和基础设施主管部门的代表。
“希望之光”旨在通过帮助中低收入国家建立或扩大医学影像、放射治疗和核医学服务，在最需要的地方扩大获得癌症治疗的机会。自三年前在埃塞俄比亚启动该倡议以来，已有90多个国家请求获得该倡议的支持。
