Monthly inflation has risen to 2.8 per cent
Business Reporter Ed Boyd says monthly inflation has risen to 2.8 per cent from 1.9 per cent. Mr Boyd said electricity price increases are “one of the main things” in causing inflation to accelerate. “Economists were expecting the figure to come in at 2.3 per cent; instead, it's accelerated quite a bit more than that.”
